About Us
The Dog House is Asheville's first licensed doggie playland, daycare, and social boarding facility. The concept has grown
in popularity in urban areas across the country and has found an apt home in pet-loving Asheville. We are centrally located
in the historic Hans Rees Tannery in the River District.
Facility
The Hans Rees Tannery is one of the area's historic renovated spaces. Built in 1906, the building was the first all-brick
and concrete structure of its size. The newly renovated warehouse suite is roomy yet intimate.
